- Taxpayer Protection Act: ruled unconstitutional by California Supreme Court
- California Children’s Services Program: changes to CSS eligibility requirements to cover life-saving speciality drugs was covered by legislative compromise
- Required personal finance course for high school graduates
- Oil & Gas Well Referendum: prohibition of new oil and gas wells within 3,200 feet of homes, schools, and hospitals was dropped
