Attention All Employers: Introducing VertiSource HR’s Comprehensive Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP)

We’re excited to announce a significant milestone: Our meticulously crafted WVPP is now available! This essential document spans 35 pages of detailed, actionable strategies.

Why Is This Important?

Beginning July 1, 2024, most employers will be required to develop and implement a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) as mandated by Senate Bill 553 (SB 553).

Compliance with this law will necessitate routine measures to prevent and mitigate workplace violence. Failure to comply with SB 553 could result in penalties of up to $25,000, license revocation, and employee litigation. Given the serious repercussions of noncompliance, it is crucial for employers to proactively develop and implement their WVPP.

Since SB 553 was introduced, our VertiSource HR team has been diligently working on creating this plan specifically for our Human Resources clients. If you are not currently under our Administrative Services (ASO) or PEO service level, now may be the perfect time to consider making the switch. We are offering special pricing for those who choose to move to one of these service levels at this time.

Don’t risk your business—ensure compliance today!
