VertiSource HR is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to join our dynamic team! This role requires a strategic and hands-on HR professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsible for processing payroll and the maintenance of employee database regarding salary and pay, exempt and nonexempt. Manages multiple high-volume client accounts, transactions, and other payroll functions as needed.
We handle payroll, HR, benefits, and workers’ compensation for more than 500 small and mid-size employers. Each client works with a team of specialists who know the account, and the team covers for one another, so questions reach someone who already has the context.
The work we do, from reducing compliance risk to improving benefits and protecting workers, multiplies across every paycheck we touch. That scale is the reason the bar is high.
Our teams
The work is split across these teams, and they back each other up. Here’s what each one does.
The HR team handles the people side of our clients’ businesses, from employee relations and workplace investigations to handbooks, training, unemployment claims and employment law in many states.
Hiring: Sr. Human Resources Business Partner (opens in a new tab)The payroll team runs weekly, biweekly, semimonthly and monthly payroll for client accounts, from time entries to tax withholdings, garnishments and direct deposit changes, and answers client and employee payroll questions.
Hiring: Payroll Processor (opens in a new tab)The benefits team builds benefits packages with clients, runs open enrollment and works with the carriers, so employees get clear answers about their coverage.
The workers’ comp team manages claims and workers’ compensation programs with carriers and claims administrators, and helps client worksites with safety training and OSHA requirements.
The accounting team handles bookkeeping, month-end close, financial statements and tax preparation, for clients and for VertiSource HR itself as the company grows.
Business development brings on new clients across the country. Client success onboards them and stays with them once they’re live.
